## When the block isn’t a lack of ideas, it’s an unfinished feeling.

Creative stalls are often decisions in costume: taste, audience, money, the fear that finishing will make it judged.

Voice while you walk. Text when you need to pin a sentence. Memory notices the recurring theme, approval, purity, quitting before the work can be seen, without turning your art into a brand kit.

Claro does not generate your portfolio. It helps you see why you won’t start, or won’t stop.

## Bring the unfinished version

A block can be technical. It can also be protection from what finishing would expose.

### The project that stays almost done

Explore what remains safe while the work is unfinished and what becomes possible once it is seen.

### Taste outrunning ability

Name the gap without turning discernment into evidence that you should stop.

### Money entering the work

Hold the tension between livelihood and integrity without treating either as contamination.

### Too many directions

Find which possibility has energy and which ones are helping you postpone choosing.

## Modalities for Creatives

- **Text:** Type to pin down the one sentence that’s actually true about the piece, before you lose it to a better-sounding but less honest one.
- **Dictation:** Dictate while you walk, most of the real thinking about the block happens away from the desk, not at it.
- **Voice call:** Call Claro when the block has been going on long enough that you need to talk it through out loud, not just journal around it.

## Memory example

- **Life threads:** The specific project that’s stalled stays open as a thread, so returning to it after two weeks away doesn’t mean re-explaining the whole stuck feeling from scratch.
- **Patterns:** A pattern worth noticing: quitting right before the work would actually be seen by anyone. Claro may name it gently, not as a flaw, once it’s shown up more than once.

### Clarity Card example

- **Title:** The block wasn’t about the idea.
- **Insight:** You had the idea. You were avoiding what it would mean if you finished it and someone didn’t like it.
- **Open question:** What are you protecting by keeping it unfinished?
- **Themes:** Fear of judgment, Creative identity, Avoidance
