Meet Claro · Your thinking companion

Think out loud.Find your way forward.

Claro is a thinking companion you can speak or type to. It asks thoughtful questions, remembers the threads that matter, and helps you see the next step more clearly.

Your thought

“I keep drafting my resignation email, then deleting it.”

ClaroClaro asks

“What feels harder: leaving, or what leaving might mean about you?”

A thread to return to The job decision
A little more clarityMaybe the real fear is regret.

Claro doesn’t remember you to feel close. It remembers what helps you think more clearly.

A session, start to finish

The loop, every time you open it.

  1. 01

    Start

Open a new chat or resume one that’s still active. Claro doesn’t ask “how can I help”, it picks up wherever the last real thread left off, if there is one.

  2. 02

    Talk

Type, dictate, or call. Switch mid-conversation if the moment changes, start typing at your desk, finish on a call while you walk to the train.

  3. 03

    End

You end the chat on purpose, it’s not auto-timed out. Ending is the signal that triggers everything else: summary, memory update, and (when the conversation actually landed) a Clarity Card.

  4. 04

    Card

If something real happened, you get a short artifact to keep, not a transcript you’ll never reread. If nothing landed, Claro doesn’t manufacture one just to give you something to screenshot.

Three ways to talk

Thinking happens in whatever medium matches the moment.

All three feed the same session and the same memory.

Session · Turn 14Text
I think I might leave my job.
What happens right before you send it?
Typing…

You type. Claro writes back.

Replies stream in so you start reading before the thought is finished. Stop a reply that went the wrong way and send the next message with that interrupt in context.

Best for late-night precision, quoting someone, attaching images, rereading.

Low response time is a product feature, not a footnote. Claro can begin speaking as soon as the reply starts. The design goal is a pause that feels human, not a spinner that feels like software.

Memory

Memory built for clarity, not closeness.

Claro remembers patterns, open questions, and unfinished situations. It forgets the rest on purpose.

  1. Clarity Cards

    Walk away with the insight.

A short artifact at the end of a real session: a title that names the shift, the core insight, and an open question worth sitting with.

  2. Life threads

Pick up the situation, not the small talk.

Ongoing, unfinished situations, a job you might leave, a conversation you keep postponing. Threads close when the situation is over.

  3. Patterns

    See what keeps coming up.

Recurring values, stressors, goals, decision habits, and emotional themes, surfaced only after enough evidence, never after one bad day.

  4. This conversation

Stay with the real subject while you talk.

A live picture of this talk, the topic, the fear underneath it, the tension still open, so Claro doesn’t lose the thread while you circle back.

  5. How you speak

Attuned to you, without performing intimacy.

Communication style, how you like to be addressed, the way you think out loud, used quietly, never as a personality quiz.

What Claro deliberately does not remember

If remembering it wouldn’t make the next conversation clearer, it isn’t kept.

  • Daily trivia, the 4pm meeting, Tuesday’s fight, tomorrow’s presentation
  • One-off moods, “felt anxious today”
  • Single-session annoyances
  • Favorite movies, colors, foods, unless they actually shape how you think
  • Anything that manufactures a relationship, “you trust Claro,” “you come back a lot”

You can view, delete, or reset memories. Claro will never use them to keep you talking.

The artifact

What you actually walk away with.

Not a transcript. A short record of what shifted, written only when a session actually lands.

Clarity Card

The decision wasn’t the problem.

You weren’t struggling to choose. You were struggling with the possibility of regret.

CareerRegretSelf-trust

What changes if you trust yourself to handle either outcome?

Clarity Card

Speed wasn’t the problem.

You weren’t behind on execution. You were avoiding a decision about who gets to stay on the team.

LeadershipAvoidanceTeam

What would you decide if speed weren’t the excuse available to you?

Clarity Card

The vision wasn’t in question.

You weren’t unsure about the company. You were protecting the identity of being the person who doesn’t quit.

IdentityCo-founderCommitment

What decision would you make if quitting weren’t a referendum on who you are?

Voice

Voice that yields.

On-device listening knows when you’re talking. Barge in anytime.

Voice activity detection

Claro can tell when you are actually speaking, and when you are not, without a push-to-talk ritual. The phone decides you started, and finished, then tells the conversation layer. Endpointing is local, so the call feels immediate.

On-device · no server round-trip

Barge-in

Real conversations have “wait, that’s not what I meant.” Start speaking while Claro is still talking and playback stops at once. Your new words become the next turn.

Stops instantly · mid-sentence

Honest fallback

Honest fallback: if duplex voice can’t run on your device, Claro switches to hold-to-talk. No fake barge-in.

No pretending a barge-in works when it doesn't

You interrupt and go quietA soft spoken “Go on.” No fake user message.
Accidental blip while generatingIgnored, unless you meant to barge in.

The call stays a conversation, not a lecture you can’t pause.

Deliberately not

What Claro refuses to be.

  • Not a search engine, it won’t hand you ten blue links and disappear.
  • Not a therapist, no diagnoses, no treatment plans, no clinical language.
  • Not a friend-for-hire, it won’t perform warmth to keep you opening the app.
  • Not a productivity coach, no streaks, no guilt for skipping a day.
Claro

You walk in confused. You walk out clearer.

Next time, Claro is already oriented to what still matters.
