Where a conversation actually goes.

Voice processing, what leaves your device, what memory is allowed to keep, and how deletion works. No marketing language, this is the same answer we’d give in a support ticket.

On your device

  • Voice activity detection, deciding when you started and stopped talking, runs locally, in small audio frames, before anything is sent anywhere.
  • Speech-to-text transcription happens client-side and streams toward the server as text, not as an uploaded audio file you have to wait on.
  • Echo cancellation and noise control run locally so Claro’s own voice through your speaker is never mistaken for you interrupting.

What gets kept, and what doesn’t

  • The default is don’t save. Daily trivia, one-off moods, and single-session annoyances are never promoted to long-term memory.
  • Long-term patterns require repeated evidence across separate sessions before they’re written at all, never from a single conversation.
  • Memory writing is explicitly forbidden from persuasion, guilt, or attachment language (“you always come back to me”). If a line of copy would manufacture a relationship, it doesn’t ship.

Your controls

  • View exactly what Claro holds about you, in plain language, from Profile, not a data-export request that takes days.
  • Delete any single memory, life thread, or pattern individually.
  • Reset everything at once. Deletion takes effect immediately, not on the next billing cycle.
